Candle care
Burn it well, burn it slowly
- 01
Trim the wick
Before every burn, trim the wick to about 5 mm. A short wick burns cleanly and keeps the flame calm.
- 02
The first burn matters
Let the wax melt all the way to the edge — usually 2 to 3 hours — so the candle does not tunnel.
- 03
Mind the time
Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Let the wax cool and set before you light it again.
- 04
Place it well
Keep the candle on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts, curtains, children and pets.
- 05
Know when to stop
Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains. Wash the vessel with warm water and reuse it.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
